Our campsite is situated in the centre of Germany in the idyllic Harz mountains with it's peaceful forests and calm mountain lakes. Visit the city of Clausthal - Zellerfeld five kilometres west of the campsite with it's impressive wooden church, it's street market with local products and it's mining history. Go for a stroll around the campsite and spend some time in the picturesque village of Buntenbock. What a serenity...
You won't need to go far to enjoy the beauty of the Harz mountains: Directly situated on the borders of the "Pixhaier Lake", our campsite is surrounded by pine forests and mountain meadows, where sheep and horses graze. More than ten other lakes within a radius of five kilometres guarantee the fun that you are looking for on your holiday. All those lakes belong to the UNESCO world heritage "Oberharzer Wasserregal".
The camp site is shown in the centre of the photo. Many lakes of the UNESCO World Heritage "Upper Harz Water System" are visible. The small village in the lower right corner is Buntenbock.
A closer look on the camp site. In front the lake "Pixhaier Teich". Behind is the camp site displayed. 3 building out of 4 four could be seen on this photo (on is hidden behind trees).
In direct proximity to the "Harzer Hexenstieg", our campsite is a good basis for your start into the Harz hiking adventure.
